Customised solutions for conveyors

December 2011 – De Boer Snijbedrijf supplies tailored cut steel and stainless steel discs that are mounted on the sides of drums for conveyors. These drums are used to drive conveyors.

Tempo Trommels & Rollen from Middenmeer has been working with De Boer Snijbedrijf for more than 15 years. The company makes drums, rollers and specials for conveyors. The material they are made from depends on the product being moved and the specific environment.

Customised solutions

The discs, customied by De Boer Snijbedrijf, have a hole in the middle for the drum axle. The axle can be welded into place or held in position with a clamping bush so that it can be replaced if it gets worn. Steel and stainless steel drums are used widely in agriculture, fishing and the food industry.
